The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden is one of the host gardens and the site of the Wednesday evening Welcome Reception for the AIS 2017 Convention. You can see iris displays as well as visit the guest irises.
Guest irises are displayed in two oval gardens (one bearded, one beardless) flanked by more guest irises. See them on the banks of the Des Moines River above.
